ReDesign is a design resource created for academics in research. The main purpose is to help academics create professional and visually effective research posters using Adobe InDesign. This resource assists academics with learning the basic fundamentals of design and how to apply it to their posters. This includes color, font, content, hierarchy, etc.
ReDesign is a website that provides in-depth knowledge on how to create a research poster using InDesign. The website also provides a list of on and off campus resources for users. In addition to the website, there is an Instagram page that provides updates on workshops and different tips.
Many academics often use PowerPoint to create large-scale, research posters due to the lack of accessibility and knowledge of InDesign. However, all students at UNLV now have access to Adobe Creative Suite in select computer labs on campus. Overall, ReDesign is aimed to educate UNLV academics on how to design their research posters and to show them the benefits of utilizing InDesign, a resource now accessible to them on campus.
